What's up dog?

My name is Kelly and I am a 2,5 year old Huntaway. I go to work on a Sheep and Beef farm everyday as without me, my œHooman would not be able to work properly. I love my job and I am very passionate about it. I have a good bark because only with a good bark the sheep/cattle will move forward and in the direction I want them to go. I drive them with my bark from the back and make sure none of them escapes. I usually work together with my team mates Chase (another Huntaway) and Skye (a heading dog) I am also very useful in the sheep yards where I drive the sheep with my bark through the races. If they are naughty, then they get told off by me.

This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
